The former requires that the patient first have a custom-built dental retainer made from an imprint of their teeth. Thereafter, the takes their unique retainer home and applies a small amount of the Enlighten whitening gel within. Then when worn, the peroxide-based bleaching gel begins to clear away any discolouration or stains from the patient’s teeth over the next days – allowing them to witness each stage as their teeth get progressively whiter, shade by shade.
